Thursday”s last-minute 10-point plunge to 2039.50 extended the post-open reversal to more than 28 points. And the session still ended in positive territory. And exiting the bias environment under the noon hour”s low attracted no timely sponsorship when that plunge would have been predictive. That”s a lot of selling pressure to expend without gaining traction for the effort.
Traction, or not, the proximity to Tuesday”s 2035 low makes its test likely. Thursday”s session-long decline makes sellers likely to control Friday morning”s bias environment. And being a Friday, the morning”s bias signal is likely to persist through the noon hour.
Perhaps Friday”s early sellers will get carried away as did Thursday”s early buyers, inverting the setup to reverse immediately back into the range. Gapping up above Thursday afternoon”s 2052.50 highs would be credible, too. More details were discussed during the post-market Tour:
