A very weak bias-up is still a bias-up.

[pay]The 10:15 timing window’s 3-minute bar contained a print of the 1147.75 bias-up signal. This invoked the 15-minute grace period for buyers to prove they needed the extra time to absorb extra selling pressure. The grace period finished 10:30 above 1147.75 to signal a bias-up.
However, the window’s 10:30 exit had yet to improve upon the earlier test’s 1148.75 highs. Higher highs are still possible this morning, if not also likely. In fact, a fresh session high just touched the 1149.50 pre-open high.
But the delayed improvement also makes clear that a higher high would be tentative. In fact, the fresh session high that touched the 1149.50 pre-open high also just reacted down to 1148.00.
Like the pre-open high, any higher high’s purpose would be to neutralize an attraction back to some semblance of unfinished business above. It would not be the product of accumulation below.
