Highlights: At least a couple of items normally reported on Thursdays are included in Wednesday”s econ calendar. And at least one item is reliable for influencing price action — that”s the Chicago PMI, whose surprises can trigger a reaction among its institutional subscribers that the data early. Otherwise, the it”s a normal-length session, but volume will begin evaporating rapidly in New Year”s Eve.
