Perspective on the consumer continues with Case-Shiller, and then Consumer Confidence post-open. The latter has the best track record of influencing price action.

Highlights: Thursday’s calendar is busy, but not very influential. Claims doesn’t get much of a reaction anymore, and the PMI Flash doesn’t have a track record of influencing price either. Many housing sector data is being released this week, so Thursday’s might get a reaction depending on how it compares. The KC Fed survey has no track record of influencing price action.
