1. At 1:20, trading above the bias-up signal or under the bias-down signal would put into play a test of its bias-up or bias-down target.
2. Not triggering either bias signal at 1:20 would be “no-bias,” and the bias signals should define the bias environment”s range.
— A test of the opposite bias signal would be targeted if one bias signal was tested before triggering no-bias.
3. Touching the bias signal within 3 minutes either way of 1:20 would invoke a grace period through 1:30 to trigger a late signal.
— “Late” signals don”t require testing the opposite bias signal, but it”s still likely.
4. Still testing the bias signal at 1:30 after invoking the grace period would trigger “noN-bias,” with no bias influence.

guanito — Hi Rod. Looking for entry on CPRX, CRMD please? Tks Posted Yesterday
Jo B — thanks Rod. could u look at OXIS and HEMP charts please in the next livestox. thanks Posted Yesterday
Rod David — CPRX — Getting a little extended at 4.87. A pullback from here down to 4.28-4.36 would help to refuel the rally for another upleg to 6.25. But testing 5.06 first would risk expending all currently available buying pressure. Posted Yesterday
Rod David — CRMD — There”s no excuse to further delay resuming the rally that has been correcting for the past week. Back above 9 should almost literally explode higher to 10.35. Closing back under 7.95 would instead signal a deeper correction underway. Posted Yesterday
Rod David — OXIS — This chart”s only pattern is to consolidate, surge higher, and consolidate again. That”s a historic trend, but there”s nothing reliable about it going forward. The pattern isn”t any likelier to extend higher than it is to reverse back down. The last consolidation did surge through its downtrending resistance, so there might be some sense of timing to it, but that will have to happen again to suggest it wasn”t just coincidence. Posted Yesterday
Rod David — HEMP — Closing back above .033 on expanding volume would be the first suggestion that momentum may be reversing up, but this is otherwise an ongoing downtrend. Posted Yesterday

Rod-David — AWGI — It”s potentially bullish, if its .04 high is exceeded through the close on continually expanding volume. Posted Yesterday

kit650kr — ROD – Dad wants to know support & resistance for GTLS. He asked also to tell u he”s up 7.5% in a month…. he”s very pleased! Thank u Posted 17 hours ago
KiteGradient — Appears KITE broke resistance. Any room to run? IRET did not have a very convincing day to get out past resistance? Posted 12 hours ago
Rod-David — GTLS — Very attractive pattern , rounding through January”s low on low volume, surging out of its bottom in February on expanding volume, and kind of cup & handle-ish during March”s consolidation. Resistance isn”t the issue, so much as holding support and expanding the volume. Support was just tested around 33. Upside potential is to 46.90 and 52.85 Posted an hour ago
Rod-David — KITE — Without a second consecutive higher close today, some time will be needed backing and filling down to 66.75 before trying to rally again. Posted an hour ago
Rod-David — IRET — Resistance in a downtrend is where corrective bounces end. Recovering resistance in a downtrend does not signal the trend reversing up. That would require first ending the downtrend, forming an accumulation pattern and then triggering its buy signal Posted an hour ago
Rod-David — ATTBF — This is the one marijuana stock that I used as a counter-example to several other single-surge plays that were pointing to new lows. Not ATTBF, which at least had trended during its surge, and had retraced to touch the upper-end of its pullback limit. Now surging again today, a second consecutive higher close Monday should waste little time extending through recent highs. Posted 26 minutes ago
Miss Kitty — Any chance for a Livestox today? Posted 10 minutes ago
Rod-David — I was just getting things set-up for that, an announcement is coming
Post-open review
All biased-up, with nowhere to go.
The overnight rally from 2080.00 had extended to 2097.50 before a pre-open dip slid to 2092.00. That didn”t take the pressure off of immediately extending higher as proof of resuming the rally today. But it did make trending down through the open more difficult.
Trending down through expiration”s open would have been very bearish. The alternative isn”t necessarily bullish — at least, not very bullish.
The pre-open dip didn”t extend post-open, and initially reacted up 4 points to 2096.00. But the 2095.00 bias-up target held repeated tests as resistance through 10:15 to avoid renewing the bias-up signal.
Now a late break higher has touched 2100.00, fulfilling what would have been the renewed bias-up target. Overbought RSIs at Wednesday”s high have been neutralized. Back under 2095.00 might not be the precise inflection point, but it would make the balance of the session vulnerable to trending down.
— From yesterday”s post-close summary:
— From yesterday”s post-close summary: “Rallying overnight to greet Friday”s open by gapping up would be a credible start” to resuming Wednesday”s rally.
— This morning”s update: “Rallying too high overnight could send Friday”s open tumbling.”
Flip-flopping? No, it”s just that the overnight rally is now greeting Friday”s open at this morning”s bias-up target. Actually, 2-1/2 points higher. And actually it”s not just that. This is expiration, and expiration gaps are vulnerable to reversing direction immediately, substantially, and durably. Regardless of expiration, any opening gap is vulnerable if its overnight buyers/sellers don”t attract intraday sponsorship during the first 15 minutes.
We discussed what to watch for during the opening 15 minutes to know what today”s expiration intends to do — in the pre-market Tour, recorded here:

Look ahead: Economic Calendar – for Fri Mar 27 2015
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights:
There”s usually a safe zone around expiration that limits econ reports to low-profile inconsequential items. But Friday”s two Fed speakers seems to be a breach of professional courtesy which could impact the expiration session in unusual ways.
