Livestox, April 9 2015
Thursday”s Livestox covered the following stocks in the following order, with one little problem — the broadcasting computer blanked out during the review. I”m researching whether the interrupted recording can be retrieved. Stocks after the asterisks *** are covered in the recording linked to this post. Thank you!
IGRW close > .0033 would be bullish
BLPG reiterating warning
DEWM close > .0062 would be bullish
FITX reiterating warning
CARA never bearish, but bullish again
SRNA perpetually ugly patter approaching a potential low
ATTBF high-volume up-day needed

And here”s recent comments so they can be indexed for search [which hasn”t been working for a couple of weeks, but Marketfy has assured me it will be fixed again this weekend]
Brett-ster — Rod, where do you see BIIB headed? Posted 1 week ago
Rod-David — Rescheduling for 12:15 PM ET… thank you for your patience! Posted 1 week ago
Rod-David — GTLS — Closing above 38.60 resistance would next target 40.55, and then probably also 42.50 Posted 6 days ago
Tony 48.75VAPEs — Is Xtrm still bullish. It”s held its recent upswing but has had almost no volume? What needs to be seen to know its continuing an upward trend? Thanks Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — BIIB — Without having gapped down under 440 to form an Island, the current downleg is likely only a temporary correction, backing-and-filling before at least retesting the high. This test of 413.50 as support would suffice, and back above 426.35 would signal the uptrend resumed. Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — XTRM — Looks like a Flag pattern has formed, which is a continuation pattern that tends to resolve bullishly. Breaking higher on expanding volume would be very bullish if that pattern were formed by any listed stock Posted 6 days ago
Tony 48.75VAPEs — It would be great if you”d look at MJMD during livestock today. Thanks again! Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — MJMD — Interesting multi-stage rally. Doesn”t need to back and fill any deeper before rallying, so delaying another upleg much longer would be a concern Posted 6 days ago
KiteGradient — Great calls a week or so ago on KITE to 52.5 and MINE working towards 0.035. Even if 0.04 was the bottom that is well done. Thanks Posted 6 days ago
fennecby — Hey Rod. How”s OGI.v looking to you after this multi-session upleg, and with today”s surge in volume as well? If I wanted to add a short-term position to a long-term one, would closing above .65 be a good enough indication?
And what”s the deal with CARA, that can”t decide if it”s going up or down? Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — OGRMF — I like the spot where volume has started expanding, which is into and out of a retest of January”s prior low. Its influence on price is impressive, too. Just avoiding a close under .41 will help the recovery to extend. Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — CARA — I spent a lot of time on this in Livestox, and the video will be available shortly… Posted 6 days ago
fennecby — thanks X2.
on OGI – it this considered a double bottom that can signal THE bottom, or are the lows too far apart? Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — OGRMF — It might be referred to as a Double Bottom, but for my purposes the second low was the fulfillment of a distribution pattern that had developed after the initial low.
tamaramessmann — could you please take a look at GBLX and NTRR Posted 6 days ago
tamaramessmann — ITB what are the relevant levels Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — GBLX — Today”s surge isn”t accompanied by expanding volume. It can follow-through to test .36, but still be only a corrective bounce Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — NTRR — It held the ,.06 pullback limit I identified earlier this week, but must still rally back toward prior highs on expanding volume to suggest a breakout underway Posted 6 days ago
Rod-David — ITB — Currently at a critical spot needing to avoid closing under 27.85 and needing to close above 29 to keep 31.90 in-play
Brett-ster — Rod, do you see strong resistance at .004 on IGRW? Trying to decide whether to take profit or let it ride. Posted 3 days ago — “Edited”
Rod-David — IGRW — .0038 is resistance, and then .0047. I like the volume patterns that got it here, so I”m inclined to give it a benefit of the doubt through the morning. Posted 3 days ago
Rod-David — DEWM — Healthy volume patterns here, too, from last week”s initial recovery that ended its shallow slide, and now to today”s surge to fresh relative highs. Posted 3 days ago
Tony 48.75VAPEs — If DEWM continues upward, where are the next resistances? Posted 2 days ago
Rod-David — DEWM — Closing above .0052 and .006 would have potential to .011 Posted 2 days ago
Josey — Rod, your thoughts on DDD. Does it need two consecutive higher closes in this 28 – 29.00 range or wait for the 32.00 range for the 2 consecutive closes? Or ?? Thank You! Posted 2 days ago — “Edited”
Rod-David — DDD — Needs a couple of higher closes to signal and confirm, but it can get a benefit of the doubt closing above 28.75. Posted 2 days ago
guanito — Good afternoon. Tks Rod on DEWM – got the last 45”s. still working the bid. Chart looks good! Posted 2 days ago
fennecby — hey Rod. Have you looked at APH.v recently? don”t know that they have a US equivalent at all, but the chart looks interesting. And it”s MJ. Posted 2 days ago
Rod-David — APH.v — Traded only on Vancouver. And unfortunately, only one direction to this stock, ever. So, there isn”t much of a projection,,, maybe to 1.45 Posted 2 days ago
fennecby — oh well. Posted 2 days ago
Josey — Anyone”s thought”s, do you think this is a short cover rally in oil? Oil has also been rising on both good and bad news lately which would be bullish. If the covering isn”t happening now I would think that if we retest the highs that would be from covering. Am I thinking to much :) Posted 2 days ago
fennecby — btw – while DDD is mentioned – would be interesting to hear your opinion about the entire 3D sector, which has been in an almost yearlong brutal decline that started around July 2014. ADSK is the only one I know of that”s in an uptrend (and SGLB may interest you and others). Posted 2 days ago
Rod-David — DEWM — Having probed above .0064, not closing above it today would undermine the rally. But it would not prevent a fresh high tomorrow. In fact, following this two-day pattern with another surge tomorrow morning would put in a near-term top. Posted 2 days ago
Rod-David — IGRW — Backing off this morning, and needing to close above .0028 to maintain its upward momentum. Posted 2 days ago
Brett-ster — Rod, with ENRT now trading around .045, what”s the next lower support level, if any? Posted 2 days ago
Rod-David — ENRT — It”s still testing support, and I won”t have a high-confidence lower support without first knowing the closing price of the actual close under support. But a likely next support area would be .0297 and .0168 Posted 2 days ago
Brett-ster — thanks Posted 2 days ago
recentiy03 — Any thoughts on DLIAQ? They filed for BK on 12-7-14 and the stock price has been floating up and down but under .025 since then. Posted Yesterday — “Edited”
Rod-David — CARA — I”ve expressed my confusion at the late-March dip coming after a complete recovery from a prior dip. Today”s surge back above that prior recovery”s high is much more appropriate for the overall pattern. Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — DLIAQ — The filing was a big paradigm shift which totally changed the complexion of the stock. Previous price action can”t be involved when considering newer price action, and newer price action is just noise. Sorry Posted Yesterday
kit650kr — Yo ROD…running through ….do we like KMI yet? do I still have a shot of retracement to $38 and change? Where do u c resistance on GTLS? Posted Yesterday — “Edited”
Rod-David — KMI — The consolidation isn”t optimal, its dips stopping optimistically short of filling the gap back down to its recent low. But closing above 42.25 on expanding volume would minimize that attraction and make a rally much likelier much sooner Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — GTLS — Resistance is 40.60 and 42.50 Posted Yesterday
fennecby — Rod – NDRM over 14 goes where, do you think? And potential for SGLB? Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — NDRM — Closing above 14.30 and 15.75 would next target 18.35 Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — SGLB — It is a concern that .087 was probed for a couple of days last week without extending higher. But the trend is otherwise making a credible effort to reverse up. Posted Yesterday
kit650kr — thanks Boss Posted Yesterday
fennecby — x2 Posted Yesterday
Tony 48.75VAPEs — Rod – Anything to be said positive or negative on LVVV rally this week? Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — LVVV — Monday”s pullback was a perfect .618 retracement of Apr 1”s first rally leg, Potential to .013 Posted Yesterday
Brett-ster — Rod, with XTRM having broken .007 support, where do you see the next support level? Posted Yesterday
Josey — GM Rod, Wondering if ECIGD bounce potential for a quick trade if any? Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — XTRM — Next lower support is .005, although closing back above .0075 would suggest the dip was only noise. Posted Yesterday
Rod-David — ECIGD — Sorry, nothing on the upside would be predictable in a downtrend that is still printing new lows Posted Yesterday — “Edited”
kit650kr — Yo ROD…home for a bit! do I see an actual biotech bounce? CELG going crazy and GILD? do U have any new resistance for me? Thanks in advance Posted 23 hours ago
Rod David — CELG — The next higher resistance within the range is 121.55. Above that would be likely to become a breakout to new highs in the 130”s Posted 22 hours ago
Rod David — GILD — Resistance is 109, and its recovery would target 120 Posted 22 hours ago
casjf — Big AT&T data breach — maybe it will help FEYE get to that next high — if so, Rod, what”s the next target & support? Posted 21 hours ago
casjf — SCTY – up over $53.05. Is that now support? And next target? Posted 21 hours ago
Rod David — FEYE — Above 41.40 and 43.40 on expanding volume would target 48.05 and 54.35 Posted 21 hours ago
Rod David — SCTY — 54.45 and 58 resistance are still noise in the ongoing channel”s range Posted 21 hours ago
casjf — SCTY – good to know — that”s one big channel! No wonder people liked to trade this! Posted 21 hours ago
kit650kr — ROD, do you like ETP for a LT re-entrance point yet? I love the 7% bank! Posted 20 hours ago
casjf — KITE – support & resistance Posted 19 hours ago
Rod David — ETP — Closing above 58.55 would be of interest, but there”s otherwise a big bearish trend reversal developing. Posted 19 hours ago
Rod David — KITE — Resistance up to 63, and support at 53.35. Closing above 58.75 should at least test 63. Posted 19 hours ago
tamaramessmann — CEO- what are the levels to watch? Posted 19 hours ago
Rod-David — CEO — 154.72 is the uper-end of noise above Feb”s prior high. Closing above it would target 172,.25. It”s difficult to know whether today”s gap up is genuine or just a function of being an ADR, but its optimism could work against it at this stage and cause a reversal down if today”s gain is not extended immediately tonorrow
tamaramessmann — PBR-what are the relevant levels please? Posted 8 minutes ago
Rod David — PBR — the Descending Triangle that I had described here on Mar 6 did break lower to its 61.8% extension at 4.92 and was only temporary as expected. Now 7.30-7.45 is being attacked, and closing above it would next target 8.50

The Universe, week of April 6 2015
Note: I publish “The Universe” every weekend, updating my support and resistance calculations for Marijuana sector stocks. It is not a projection, but a handy reference… Non-Marijuana stocks are covered elsewhere during the week.]
Links to ||
Last week”s Universe || Prior week”s Universe || Previous week”s Universe ||
None of the newer names I listed in the past two Universes garnered enthusiasm or credibility to begin tracking. Nevertheless, please don”t hesitate to suggest that I cover any of them anyway — or any other issues, for that matter.
So, no new coverage was initiated. More so, some coverage was discontinued. If you”re missing an issue that you want covered, you”re welcome to request it. I only dropped coverage of issues that have been pegged at zero and/or trading only by appointment.
This has affected the percentages of stocks above or below their rolling four-week moving averages. Issues that fell to zero remained in a perpetual “down” trend, and never graduated to “flat” simply because their prices had finally stabilized. My great-great grandfather”s health has similarly stabilized. Although, the last time he was seen, I suspect that he was flat.
Regardless, the percentage of uptrends rose, and the percentage of downtrends dropped.
Improvement? Well, I can report anecdotally that recalculation of supports was limited, despite reporting last week that many issues were scraping those bottoms. And more issues have been simmering. It”s premature for this to justify comfort, when that may simply be the comfort of no longer being hit in the head with a hammer.
The proof will be in whether simmering becomes more widespread, and whether simmering can last long enough to become bubbling.
