Econ Calendar – Page 241 – If, Then… Market Timing

Econ Calendar

Look ahead: Economic Calendar – for Tue Sep 30, 2014

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.

Highlights: Several measures of the consumer are released throughout Tuesday morning, but the most influential is post-open Chicago PMI. That is released several minutes earlier to its institutional subscribers, whose market actions make clear whether the data surprised — and the effect tends to be repeated when released publicly. The home sector and report preceding it is influential if it”s surprising, and the Consumer Confidence number usually inhibits price action before its release.
