Econ Calendar
Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Last month’s Income and Outlays influenced price action, so Friday morning’s report may at least inhibit trending ahead of it. The post-open Consumer Sentiment is more reliable for getting a reaction.

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Thursday’s calendar is made busy with several low-profile items. But it still has two high-profile items to influence price action, Jobless Claims and Home Prices. As with the rest of the week, keep an eye on the 1:00 note auction in case of disappointment.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Both the pre-open and post-open items are high-profile, and capable of impacting price action. Less so with the pre-open items, except the market will be jittery after Tuesday’s minefield. The 1:00 note auction is only getting further out the yield curve to continue testing demand.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Tuesday’s two pre-open retail metrics aren’t normally high-profile, but they may be now since last week’s Retail Sales data did shock the market. HPI is already high-profile, and also comes at an unusual pre-open time for econ reports. Two of the four simultaneous 10:00 reports are high-profile and tend to impact price action. Even the 1:00 note auction is far enough out the yield curve that it can’t be taken for granted.

Highlights: The Chicago Fed Index is relatively low-profile, but it is gaining a track record for influencing price action when its data either validates or contradicts an ongoing theme – even if the data were in-line.
