Econ Calendar
Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Three reports due simultaneously at 8:30, and each is high-profile in its own right. More confusion couldn’t be thrown into the market unless the three were scheduled post-open. As for post-open reports, there is one at 10:00, and it is also high-profile. Then both of the weekly EIA reports. Should be an unusually volatile morning.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: The news flow gets back to normal with a relatively high-profile item before the open, two then simultaneously, and another 30 minutes after the open. Then price action become subdued before the afternoon’s FOMC Minutes. We can’t count on that anymore as in the past, since this report’s effects have also become more subdued.

A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: Move over no-news day, and make way for a slow-news day. More so, the afternoon’s price action might be paralyzed by anxiousness ahead of INTC’s high-profile earnings coming after the close.

Look ahead: Economic Calendar
A midday look ahead in preparation for economic reports and events scheduled for the next trading day.
Highlights: A very low-profile report is the only item scheduled for Friday. Two speeches Thursday night might be impactful, as they are given by perhaps the two most controversial Federal Reserve board members.
